For the past year I have been using the Wyre Masg Stand Alone, version 003 to manage my Morrowind mods and saves. All was working well until a couple of weeks ago. I have been getting this message whenever I try to remove spawned creatures or run a repair on my saves: It may be worth noting the this error began popping up after I installed Weather Adjuster which is a MWSE mod. After doing a search I have found other people with similar errors and see that it's recommended to switch to Wyre Mash - Polemos Fork. I've downloaded the Wrye Mash 2019 - x64 - manual installation as well as the Wrye Mash 2021 - x64 - beta6 (some of the players who have been getting errors have been reporting that the problem has been fixed after installing the beta version). Now for the part I'm not sure of; the best way to switch from the version I have been using to one of the Polemos Fork versions. Does one simply delete the folders that are related to Wyre Mash from their Morrowind game folders? There's a lot information out there on how to install, including this guide, but there isn't any clarification on how one gets rid of one version and switches to another. I figured I'd put this here before I do anything that destroys my game.

I would uninstall Wrye Mash from the Control Panel-> Programs, then install the new version.

I'll give that a try. I saw a lot of people saying they just went in and deleted folders, but to me that sounded like something that could cause even more issues.

Overwriting the folders might just do the trick, but I would still do it the safe way.
I'm paying a lot of attention to stuff like this right now because within a few weeks I'm migrating everything to a new computer that I'm waiting for.

Ah, you would certainly want to keep everything as clean as possible for that. When my new computer was ready I had the very long process of rebuilding everything from the ground up, but it was more than time for a fresh start at that point.

Well, the new version is installed and working. Although it's still kicking out those odd errors when I close Wyre Mash, I am once again able to remove spawned creatures (so now I can see exactly the what the deleveler mod I installed is doing) and can do repairs on saves.
I'll keep looking into what's up with those errors. Some people think it may have had to do with the last MWSE update, but who knows?

The MWSE update in January caused problems with the fireflies mod that made the fireflies these flying white squares. Fortunately I had an earlier archive from September 2020 and I overwrote the files with it and everything works fine.
I can send you the January one and the old September one if you like. If you want to try the September one, compare the files because the January one has a couple extra ones. And if you find you do need the latest version after all, you can just do the update.

That would be appreciated. Obviously there is something wrong and it's never a good idea to let things like that go.

Thanks, this is greatly appreciated. Due to the timing of when this started it likely is a MWSE issue.
