Great House Dagoth Heart Issue Fix(?)

Whatup. So I had that issue in the heart chamber wherein Dagoth ports behind you when you get close to the heart and tries to get his murder on. Which is weird because I had GHD at the bottom of my load order from the start and I had thought I'd cleaned my mods (though I am no expert!) I'm guessing the issue is morrowind rebirth because others have reported such and I'm having all sorts of issues with it. That said; I've gotten to the point where I can wear clothes again and Dagoth is kicking me more quests that seem to be in order (I've read all the dialogue already while fixing Ur's English).
What I did:
1. Follow Ur into the heart chamber but don't go near him. Levitate, use tcl or walk down to the heart.
2. When Dagoth Ur ports open the console, target him and enter: stopcombat. That should be all you need but for good measure I also entered: setfight 0 and setdisposition 100.
3. Enter ResetActors
4. Dagoth Ur should now be back where he started when you entered and the dirty script should now be satisfied that Ur has had his port. Head back up to Ur and talk to him. Admire the movement of his hips as he moves to the heart.
5. If all went well he'll walk to the heart as normal, stab you and tell you to cast the spell. Don't cast the spell yet.
6. Once you're at the heart open the console and enter startscript lorkhanheart
7. Cast the spell on the heart.
8. Things seem to progress?
Possibly:
9. Saving immediately after being able to wear pants resulted in a crash on reload. So leave the room and maintain multiple saves?
I have no idea if this fix will work universally or not. My knowledge of scripting is entirely based on squinting at scripts and sussing things out. But in theory this will artificially set the do once thing on the port script to be done without disrupting Dagoth's long walk to the heart. Then you hit the script again to get it to progress. The first bit probably works as I understand it. The second bit... Eh, there's a lot going on in the new lorkhanheart script. Just forcing it to run again probably disrupts something.
