Hello,
I'm The Mad God. My main claim to fame is writing the Great House Dagoth mod.
I enjoy roleplaying games, tabletop and otherwise. I adore worldbuilding whether in games or in other fictional settings.
The avatar I'm using is a picture of a World of Darkness character I played for ages named Ian Dragolescu. The picture was a gift from one of the other players in that game, and is cropped from a larger image.
My first exposure to TES was with Daggerfall. In my mind, Morrowind beats out Daggerfall for the title of my favorite TES game only by virtue of the wonderful modding community that lets this world continue to grow both in size and depth.
I spent years playing the game in an unmodded state, not because I wasn't aware of the great mods out there, but because I wanted to explore every nook and cranny of the vanilla game before I expanded outward. After I finished looting every cave in the game and organizing every item in the game in a cleared out Clockwork City did I decide to start adding mods.
I found our hostesses fic on a vanity search to see if anyone still cared about my Great House Dagoth mod, and have been hanging around since.
Edit: Oh, also, the birthdate I entered isn't accurate. The year is correct, but I'm sort of paranoid about online privacy and don't like giving out details that can be used to narrow down my identity.

Ah, you're here. Welcome. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I absolutely understand about online privacy. Most people don't realize how vulnerable they make themselves with the information they share online. If fact I rarely use my real information online unless it's a place like Amazon where I am purchasing something.

Deadric Cat here.
I've played Oblivion, Morrowind, and Skyrim on console for years. It's been only in the past year, maybe more, before I've moved to PC and using mods. But I already have a good feel for what my characters are like, and how I view the games. Even as I started TES with Oblivion, Morrowind is my favorite.
My avatar is Silvercat, the one character that I play through Morrowind and Skyrim as a secondary non-hero character as a foil to my Nerevarine and Dragonborn. And he will be played through Oblivion the same way once I get around to actually installing it. My Nerevarine is Telvanni, and my Dragonborn is born of that house.
When it comes to lore, I'm a heretic. I may see it differently from how others see it. I definitely do not like the retcon about Morrowind, and have my own headcanon of it.

Nova here. Or.. Novasiri, or Zelfire.. I go by many names.
I'm an artist, a writer, and over all a roleplayer and lover of the Elder Scrolls. I started playing back when Arena came out, and progressively worked my way to now Skyrim. And through the time I used.. usually the same character or extensions there of. The character, known as Mar. Morrowind tends to be my favorite of them all, due to the more open ended world, exploration and no push to do any of the main quest if your character so does not want to be the Hero.
And I have a few of them, namely my current play through of a character named Flint, a Khajit who is not the Nerevarine.. and just goes on his merry way.. Albeit usually drunk. He kills ordinators on sight because he thinks their helmets look stupid. (Yes, in his mind that's a legitimate reason to behead someone.)
I love to draw, write, world build and I adore Table Top games, I recently have started getting into Changeling: The Lost of the New World of Darkness, and am building a forum roleplay with a friend who got me into it.
The picture I'm using is of one of my Flight Rising dragons, Aion. It's a dragon breeding/raising site. And.. a guilty pleasure.
I came across the Fic by accident really. I was searching through mods that fleshed out the Sixth House, and after finding Great House Dagoth, I did a Google search to find a better download, as at the time Planet Elder Scrolls was being DDoS'ed and I was unable to download. Lo' and behold.. I discover The Archer's Tale.
The most in modding the game I have done is my own personal interpretation of the Shivering Isles. However, this was a personal mod meant for immersion of my character Mar, rather than some sort of questing or looting hub. It was mostly a land mass with various buildings and the Palace itself. I had to take so many pictures from the Oblivion version to get it right. In the end, aside from some mesh and texture work.. again, for personal use, I didn't make much in terms of game changers.
Lore wise. I prefer head cannon in relation to many things. A friend of mine, named Krissy also shares this with me, as she's the sort who doesn't actually believe the Dwemer are gone, and think they are operating their machines remotely from another dimension or deeper under ground, or that such. Which.. made a looott of sense to me in a way. I may point her here since she's ANYTHING but Lore friendly, which is a good thing. :D

Hi, I just randomly remembered reading Morningstarlady's story years ago, and being utterly enchanted with the idea of using Morrowind to create screenies in order to accentuate a story. So, I searched on LJ for it, discovered the reboot, looked for but did NOT find a list of mods used in the current version, but DID discover the link to here.
I'm currently at work reuploading as many of my favourite mods as I can re-find, AGAIN, while discovering the many subtle differences between Ubuntu with WINE Morrowind vs. Windows Morrowind. (Migrated to the former; I'm aiming for something WAY less proprietary, but I'm 39. And with age comes a disturbing difficulty in learning.) My most recent discovery: MWSE does not work. What I want to know is, then how come come I can't boot up Morrowind SUCCESSSFULLY without it?
One of those things, like how I could never get MGE to work fro me before. (Hmm. Should I give it a go?)
One of the biggest differences: Windows did not distinguish between a folder called M and a folder called m. Ubuntu does. (However, it will alphabetise _mn between mn and n. Not that this is relevant, but it's interesting to me to note.) Therefore, installation of mods is a LOT more... manual.
I HATE when I'm in the middle of installing a mod, and I get a distraction. Means I might lose my place!
Also, where did all the Leveled List Merger progs go?
*sigh*
I want my Morrowind back!

You probably know about this site already: Morrowind Modding History. It's possible that what you're looking for might be there. The Morrowind community has been tracking down and uploading files there since PES has more or less died.

Howdy folks! I'm Saleg. Or, maybe not. Maybe that's just my rose by another name?
So, given that I seem to be joining a club, I guess I should introduce myself? I'm a long (long, long, long) time player of Morrowind. I love it. No other video game inspired so much thought, and I have always had thoughts running through my head of what SHOULD be in Morrowind, that cannot be modded in (as far as I know, not without causing extraordinary stress on the program). And so the ideas have lived in my headspace, my own corner of the Ada-Mantia.
So one day, I stumble upon fanfics. And I think, No longer shall my Nirn be cast adrift in the void! And I begin reading, and writing, and I get to a point where our Nerevarine has to beat the ever loving daylights out of Caius Cosades, just to keep up his cover, and what do I read in the comments?
"That didn't happen that way. I liek your riting but u shuld stick closer to teh lore!"
And so, my thoughts returned to the Dreamsleeve to be remade, and to this day it stands.
And now, an audience, of those who don't give two shits if, in their game, in their world, that junkie Caius has to lose a finger or two? I may just have to write what I lost interest in so long ago. Or perhaps the Dreamsleeve shall have remade the story by then.
I come via Lady Aeronwen's tale, and might I say that the story has given me great joy, as well as something to do between classes. It also impacted what mods I use. CM minor quests I never would have found without The Archer's Tale.
Oh, and TMG? Excellent work on GHD. I recently got my girlfriend into Morrowind. She loves being a Hearwight. Her first game she didn't trust Caius, so now, she's really looking forward to... meeting.... Caius again, after her time on Red Mountain.

I find it saddening that so much creativity out there was squelched to please the Lore Masters(TM). We call them Lordinators around here, Nyxalinth's brilliant name for them.

Hi there, I'm Casper.
For those wondering where the silly name Casperius Spartacus comes from... some of my friends and me are really into Elder Scrolls and at some point I started to write a story based upon Skyrim, and my friends and I all feature in the story as the main protagonists. The story is called The Skyrim Saints. It started as a joke but now it's turned into this group of friends who all have in common that they love The Elder Scrolls. Kinda nerdy but what the heck XD It's a lot of fun. When I had to enter a username on this forum, and I couldn't think of anything, I just decided to enter my character's name as my username.
Anyway, I found my way to this forum after Lady Morningstar invited me to post my own Morrowind journal here in the fan-fiction section. Since this Morrowind story is lore-breaking as hell, this seemed like the right place to post it. It chronicles the adventures of my Dunmer Nightblade, Jeranyn. Chapter 1 is pretty much finished and I think I'll post it soon. Or maybe I'll wait until I've finished some more chapters. I hope people will like it and I'm looking forward to read others' stories as well as join in forum discussions regarding the Elder Scrolls and pretty much anything else.
And I see there's a role-playing section here as well. That's very interesting. I've been role-playing (forum based) and writing for years now and recently started playing table-top RPGs, so if that's okay I might check it out. I love RPing ^^
Some more (useless) info XD: I play guitar/sing in a band; I'm Dutch; Batman and Green Arrow are my heroes; The Used and Thrice are my favourite bands; and I'm studying to become an English teacher.
Cheers (=
