Typically I avoid making posts anywhere that involve real life politics and religion, but after what happened yesterday in Butler Pennsylvania I feel compelled to say that God has His hand on President Trump. If Trump had not turned toward the people on his right and tilted his head at the moment he did, the outcome would have been horribly different. The hateful rhetoric - that Trump is "literally Hitler" and that he is "the greatest threat to democracy in the history of our country" - has GOT to stop. I don't care how bad a case of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" some people have; yesterday's attempt on his life was NOT okay!
Let us not forget the spectator who lost his life. He came to a rally to hear President Trump speak and had no idea he would not be going home. Again, this blind hate, this horrible rhetoric needs to stop. It nearly took Donald Trump's life, it DID take the life of a spectator and injured another. We are allowing our country to be ripped apart from the inside, and this is not what our founding fathers fought and died for.

I was thinking this as I opened up this site.
Fortunately Trump is doing all right- I stayed up late enough to see that he was all right.
But two people are still in critical condition, not to mention the one who lost life. All due to this hate.
I'm sick and tired of the vicious hate. I first saw it on Live Journal and had a very bad feeling about it back then. It bubbled out of there, into Tumblr, then onto Twitter where it infected every facet of our lives through media and entertainment.
It's insane how these people have no understanding what Trump is really like. They tried to block him at first, think he would give up. Then they tried slandering him, thinking to shame him. They tried to sue him, tried to jail him, thinking that they would drive him into indebtedness. They had no idea that he had dealt with even greater debts years before.
It's hilarious because if they had bothered to READ HIS BOOKS they would know that he is a fighter who thrives on conflict. He even outlined what he would do if he ever became POTUS. And he did exactly that. He was the only one who could put a choke collar on Putin and that madman in North Korea. These current wars would not have happened if the 2020 election had not been stolen from him. From us.
Definitely God has His hand in protecting Trump, and this country.

Amen to everything you said. I agree 100%. This is something my husband and I have talked about countless times. We both know people who are very anti-Trump, yet they can never say exactly why they hate him other than to parrot all the "orange-man bad" garbage. My husband has often remarked, "They can never explain exactly how their lives were so bad when Trump was president!" The fact is that the world didn't end when he was in office. Now the economy is horrible and we are on the very edge of World War III.
Over and over I have seen anti-Trump protestors have to reach for their phones and do a search when asked exactly why they are protesting. They get a blank look in their eyes as though on some level they know that they are just repeating what the mainstream media has told them to repeat. The hate has spread like a poison and so many people don't even realize that they are being poisoned. |

My first criteria when I vote for someone is this person going to end the wars we are already in and will this person keep WWIII from happening? Trump is the only one who has done this. There was Ron Paul but he was never really able to get a serious chance at the office. Had Trump lost in 2016, I have the feeling that we would have been picking through a blackened radioactive earth trying to survive right now, if we weren't outright destroyed. Now we are on tenterhooks awaiting what is coming up in the next few months. The man who was killed was a fire fighter. Thanks for the link. I too have been watching news sources for the latest updates and I got chills when I viewed the actual footage of the shooting. To see that Trump was less than an inch away from being killed...well, there are no words.
A number of news sources have been talking about a statement Biden made recently: "It's time to put Trump in a bull's eye". Even if that statement is not what made the 20 year old shooter do what he did, Biden should still issue an apology for saying that. You can't say things like that because there is always going to be a nut or two out there who will do whatever horrible deed your words are suggesting.
This is another example showing that things have gone too far.
